Requirements

  • Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories and practices as well as the changing business environment
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of own segment/function, business and commercial expertise to differentiate itself from the competition
  • Leads a business unit, department or sub-function generally through multiple levels of managers of diverse activities; develops and executes business unit, department or sub-functional strategy to achieve key business objectives
  • Evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions
  • Guided by company strategy and business objectives, impacts results of segment/function
  • Influences and negotiates at the top executive levels, with great latitude on outcomes; presents and defends complicated or delicate issues

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting customer expectations in product quality, responsiveness and services.
  • Interfaces with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and that products meet customer specifications.
  • In case of customer inquires or issues (e.g. product returns), the Global Quality organization is responsible for providing customers with answers and driving each issue to resolution.
  • Ensures that all interactions with customers are done in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provides clear and well-articulated vision, strategies and plans to continuously improve product and service quality for our customers.
  • Develop and strengthen the Quality organization.
  • Manage general business requirements manage employees, create and monitor budgets.
  • Establish roles and responsibilities to achieve in manufacturing line and customer support.
  • Ensures that quality control inspections, tests, root cause analysis and corrective procedures are coordinated throughout the organization.
  • Selects, evaluates and manages employees to ensure the efficient operations of the function.
