About The Position

As Senior Director of Oncology Medical Affairs at BioNTech, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing medical strategies that advance our oncology portfolio. Requirements

  • Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (minimum 10 years), including successful oncology commercial launches
  • Expertise in oncology with strong familiarity with current treatment landscapes; experience in Endometrial/Breast cancers or Lung/GI oncology indications is highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills paired with strong leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively while fostering cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in developing educational programs and publications such as abstracts, posters, and manuscripts

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive medical affairs strategies for our oncology portfolio
  • Provide expert medical and scientific guidance to cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, commercial, and market access
  • Develop impactful medical education programs and materials tailored for healthcare providers
  • Represent BioNTech as a key medical spokesperson for our oncology portfolio
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and patient advocacy groups in oncology
  • Collaborate on clinical development plans and study protocols to ensure alignment with medical needs
