Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)
- Proven experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry (minimum 10 years), including successful oncology commercial launches
- Expertise in oncology with strong familiarity with current treatment landscapes; experience in Endometrial/Breast cancers or Lung/GI oncology indications is highly preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills paired with strong leadership abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively while fostering cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in developing educational programs and publications such as abstracts, posters, and manuscripts
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive medical affairs strategies for our oncology portfolio
- Provide expert medical and scientific guidance to cross-functional teams, including clinical development, regulatory affairs, commercial, and market access
- Develop impactful medical education programs and materials tailored for healthcare providers
- Represent BioNTech as a key medical spokesperson for our oncology portfolio
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and patient advocacy groups in oncology
- Collaborate on clinical development plans and study protocols to ensure alignment with medical needs
