About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to lead our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills, along with extensive experience in financial management and international finance practices.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to effectively discuss financial matters with colleagues and management, and to justify financial recommendations.
• Exceptional attention to detail with solid math and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• A solid understanding of international finance practices.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions, including month-end and year-end processing, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Oversee the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements.
• Evaluate and improve internal accounting processes to align with organizational goals.
• Provide financial projections by collecting and analyzing financial information.
• Ensure all accounting processes align with GAAP standards.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing accurate financial reports and statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits and tax filings for affiliates.
• Improve systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Meet financial accounting objectives and adhere to accounting policies and reporting deadlines.
• Maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions properly.
• Forecast cash requirements and manage cash flow to maintain sufficient funds.
• Lead annual budget preparation.
• Prepare variance analyses, including month-over-month and actuals versus budget explanations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
