About The Position

The Senior Director, Enterprise Technology is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and executing the organization’s enterprise technology vision. This leader will oversee the Data Architecture & BI and Enterprise Applications teams, ensuring scalable, reliable, and leading technology solutions that support business growth and operational excellence. This role bridges business strategy and technology execution—driving innovation, improving data-driven decision-making, and aligning enterprise systems with organizational priorities. This role is based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology or applications leadership roles
  • Strong leadership skills; with a proven track record of developing and managing multidisciplinary teams within a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, analytics, and enterprise system architecture
  • Experience developing and executing technology roadmaps
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business leaders and translate strategy into execution
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, EAM systems and other cloud-based enterprise technologies.
  • Operating in a SOX controls environment strongly desired
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they are supported by technology
  • Effective and efficient use of resources; ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Effective and creative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and motivated to seek opportunities for mastering unfamiliar tasks

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and the long-term growth strategy
  • Collaborate with Senior Management and Executive Leadership to identify opportunities where technology can support growing business needs
  • Establish governance frameworks for enterprise systems, data, integrations, and application lifecycle management
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across core business platforms
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams across data and applications functions
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
  • Own the implementation and optimization of the integrated enterprise application portfolio – including ERP, CRM, EAM and related platforms
  • Ensure applications are scalable, well-integrated and aligned with business processes across all functional areas
  • Drive continuous improvement and modernization of application platforms including workflow automation and the use of AI
  • Oversee release and change management practices governing how changes are deployed across production environments
  • Collaborate with Procurement and Executive leadership to manage vendor relationships and guide technology investment decisions across the application portfolio
  • Provide strategic oversight of the systems integration layer – governing how applications connect, how data flows across the portfolio, and how integration architecture scales with the business
  • Own the data infrastructure strategy including data warehouse architecture, pipeline reliability, and data governance frameworks
  • Ensure high-quality, accessible, and well-governed data across the organization
  • Champion data-driven decision-making and analytics capabilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize data initiatives and reporting needs
  • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity group to ensure enterprise applications adhere to the organization’s data integrity, data access, and security protocols
  • Develop and track KPIs related to system performance, data quality, and user satisfaction
  • Support senior management with the development and management of the annual operating budgets as it pertains to hiring plans, application support, and license renewals
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit and Senior Management to ensure enterprise applications and data environments adhere to SOX controls compliance
  • Promote awareness around and adoption of tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Keep current on applicable technology and industry trends
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned
