About The Position

We are looking for an innovative, relationship-driven Senior Director of Development & Communication to oversee fundraising, donor engagement, and storytelling initiatives that support our mission. Requirements
- 5–7+ years in development with success in individual giving, events, and grants.
- Skilled in cultivating major donors and corporate sponsors with integrity and discretion.
- Exceptional writer and storyteller who can inspire donors and partners.
- Experience managing staff and collaborating across departments.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, digital campaigns, and data-driven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute an annual Development Plan that fuels organizational growth.
- Build and steward relationships with individual donors, major gift prospects, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Manage grants lifecycle and lead signature events like Harc’s Gala and Walk N Roll.
- Oversee Marketing and Communication Manager to deliver compelling campaigns, donor communications, and brand-aligned messaging.
- Supervise a talented team (Events Manager, Marketing and Communications Manager, and Grant Writer) and engage board committees to amplify impact.
