The Role We’re looking for a Senior Director of Clinical Business Development (focusing on late phase clinical trials) to lead our growth across Europe. You’ll build strong client relationships, secure new business opportunities, and work closely with our global BD and operational teams to expand QPS’s CRO services around Patient Centric studies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree helpful
  • 10+ years of business development experience in a CRO, with a track record of winning complex, multi-million Euro deals and expertise handling long sales cycles
  • Strong knowledge of late phase Clinical trials and European regulatory requirements
  • Established network of senior-level contacts in pharma, biotech, and emerging biopharma
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+)

Responsibilities

  • Drive business development strategy and revenue growth across Europe, focusing on QPSs later phase CRO services
  • Build trusted relationships with pharma, biotech, and emerging biopharma clients
  • Align European initiatives with QPS global priorities
  • Represent QPS at conferences, networking events, and client meetings
  • Collaborate with operations and scientific teams to deliver client-focused solutions
