About The Position

Centene is transforming the health of its 28 million members and is seeking a Senior Director, Migration & Integrations to lead strategic product direction. This role is responsible for the product roadmap, development, implementation, opportunity identification, business case development, industry research, and new product introduction across a global product set. The position involves end-to-end product governance from concept to production, aligning stakeholders on complex business needs into a global product strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership in clinical platform migration, healthcare integration, and enterprise transformation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
10+ years of business operations and systems integration experience for call center, enrollment, billing, payment processing, or similar operations applications.
5+ years of experience in agile software development and large scale program and project management.
Management experience with budgeting and business case development.
Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, managing performance of staff and change management.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Clinical Platform Migration Leadership – Leads large-scale healthcare migrations, including data migration, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
Healthcare Integration Expertise – Deep experience in clinical systems, interoperability, and vendor coordination (HL7, FHIR, APIs).
Enterprise Transformation Leadership – Drives cross-functional programs, influences executive stakeholders, and leads change for complex business and technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

Guiding the strategic product direction for the department.
Overseeing the product roadmap, development, and implementation.
Identifying opportunities, developing business cases, conducting industry research, and introducing new products.
Ensuring end-to-end product governance from concept to production on a global level.
Aligning and engaging stakeholders on complex business needs into a global product strategy.
Leading the translation of business strategy into product strategy and roadmaps by facilitating collaboration between business leaders and technology teams.
Managing the overall product lifecycle of multiple enterprise-wide products, including design, development, implementation, and support.
Ensuring ongoing funding and investment for product development and measuring efficiencies, value realized, and ROI.
Ensuring the health of the agile development process, providing coaching and monitoring for productivity and efficiency.
Collaborating with and influencing senior leadership and technology teams to agree on new systems and changes to existing systems and practices.
Synthesizing and integrating market changes and technology improvements into actionable product improvements.
Acting as a thought leader by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to provide a global viewpoint and extend applications across use cases.
Driving a sustainable cyclical process of business value, financial review, forecasting, idea generation, opportunity sizing, business case preparation, product development, and implementation.
Performing other duties as assigned.
