About The Position

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is seeking a hands-on marketing leader to serve as Senior Director, Lifecycle and Growth Marketing. The ideal candidate is responsible for driving performance across the Chamber’s flagship small business digital platform, CO—, with a primary focus on AI training programs and a secondary focus on membership and the CO—100 awards application experience. This role blends strategy with execution. The Senior Director translates business priorities into integrated customer journeys with clear performance metrics and personally builds, launches, and optimizes lifecycle programs that improve acquisition, activation, completion, and retention. As an individual contributor, the Senior Director establishes the governance, operating discipline, and measurement frameworks required to scale lifecycle marketing responsibly and sustainably across teams and products.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in lifecycle, growth, or product marketing roles with clear ownership of strategy and measurable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor who leads through influence while executing directly in marketing and analytics tools.
  • Deep experience with lifecycle and marketing automation platforms, including journey architecture, QA discipline, and modular asset development.
  • Strong analytics fluency, including KPI definition, funnel analysis, and experimentation using GA4 or comparable tools.
  • Experience leveraging intent or firmographic data (e.g., Bombora or similar) for disciplined segmentation and prioritization.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights, trade-offs, and recommendations.

  • Experience using visual analytics platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own lifecycle and growth strategy across assigned products, defining audience segmentation, journey architecture, decision rules, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated journey roadmap aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Personally build, launch, and optimize priority lifecycle programs using marketing automation and messaging tools, with a focus on high-impact funnel moments.
  • Ensure all launches meet quality, accessibility, and compliance standards.
  • Define KPIs, validate analytics instrumentation, and diagnose funnel performance using web/app analytics and reporting tools.
  • Translate insights into a clear, agreed-upon optimization and experimentation roadmap.
  • Lead a structured experimentation cadence that converts insights into shipped improvements.
  • Execute select high-impact tests end to end and codify learnings into reusable playbooks and standards.
  • Establish and maintain lifecycle governance, including intake and prioritization processes, QA and release standards, documentation, and decision rights.
  • Maintain an approved lifecycle asset library in alignment with brand and policy requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing, Digital Products, Engineering, and Editorial teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and improve the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Represent lifecycle performance, trade-offs, and recommendations in leadership forums.
