Senior Director, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance
About The Position
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Director, Investor Relations & Strategic Finance to translate the company’s Zero Trust platform vision into a compelling investment thesis, build credibility with the investment community, and expand its global institutional investor network. This hybrid role is in the Finance department and reports to the SVP of Investor Relations & Strategic Finance. The position partners closely with the SVP and broader team, combining investor relations leadership with strategic finance support. The role is responsible for developing and refining Zscaler’s financial narrative, cultivating relationships with analysts and investors, targeting prospective institutional shareholders, and delivering investor-facing events. It also provides executives with timely investor sentiment and feedback and supports corporate development and strategic finance initiatives, including M&A due diligence and long-range planning.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience combining investment banking or sell-side research with in-house investor relations at a high-growth public SaaS or enterprise software company.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience positioning AI-driven product pipelines.
- Experience using modern analytics tools to optimize investor relations workflows.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity architectures, cloud infrastructure, and subscription-based financial models.
- Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to discuss valuation frameworks and capital allocation strategies with institutional analysts.
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Interest in equity markets and the factors that drive stock performance.

- Established, high-trust relationships with cybersecurity, software, or infrastructure analysts and buy-side portfolio managers.
- CFA designation.
- Experience using predictive AI, advanced sentiment analysis tools, or quantitative modeling to optimize investor targeting and track consensus sentiment in real time.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the SVP and cross-functional teams to develop and refine a forward-looking financial narrative covering company strategy, platform value, and operational growth drivers.
- Draft quarterly earnings scripts, Q&A, and other investor-facing materials.
- Emphasize the long-term platform value proposition and the drivers of company growth in communications with the market.
- Manage relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, and communicate Zscaler’s story to existing and prospective investors.
- Identify prospective institutional shareholders and build relationships with them, prioritizing management’s time effectively.
- Collaborate on the design and execution of the annual Investor Day, investor sessions at customer conferences, marketing roadshows, and conference schedules.
- Provide executives with real-time investor sentiment and feedback based on investor conversations and market developments.
- Support corporate development and strategic finance initiatives, including M&A due diligence and long-range planning.
