About The Position

The Senior Director, Internal Communications develops and executes executive and employee communications strategies to support Cohesity’s mission, objectives, and corporate priorities. The ideal candidate is a trusted and thoughtful partner to executives, and a deft communicator focused on developing and delivering innovative initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. This role will be highly visible across the entire company and will require a leader who can quickly build a network of influence with executives, peers, and cross-functional teams. This role has direct responsibility or supervision of staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and executive communications strategy, establishing a consistent and measurable approach to supporting major initiatives, company moments, and change initiatives.
  • Ensure that Cohesity employees are engaged and aligned.
  • Drive content excellence with high-impact deliverables across multiple platforms, from the intranet to videos to executive presentations and more.
  • Ensure messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with our values.
  • Experiment fearlessly with emerging media and AI.
  • Establish and manage the executive communications function, starting with the CEO’s platform, driving a regular cadence of varied content that resonates with key audiences and builds engagement.
  • Partner with external communications leaders to ensure consistency across all platforms and stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Work as a thought partner across the business, building a network of trust and influence with executives, peers, and functional teams.
  • Leverage data to identify priority investments of people and program resources.
  • Define KPIs and use insights to identify opportunities to innovate and improve results.
