About The Position

The Senior Director, Integrated Marketing, leads the development and implementation of our marketing plan, ensuring the holistic go-to-market strategies deliver against our strategic plan and annual objectives. This position requires a demonstrated ability to translate brand and product strategies into campaigns that drive measurable growth and strong consumer engagement, as well as expertise in team development and mentorship. Additionally, this role partners closely with cross-functional teams including Arts & Culture Programming, Community Engagement & Education, Pier Park, and Tenant Partnerships to strengthen Navy Pier’s reputation as a mission-driven organization and global destination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business or related fields.
  • 9+ years of experience in brand and integrated marketing, with at least 3 years in team management.
  • Demonstrated success in leading integrated marketing campaigns, developing high-performing teams, and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to serve as an ambassador for Navy Pier both in and out of the workplace.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of data-driven, annual brand and integrated marketing strategy for Navy Pier, driving measurable growth in attendance and revenue.
  • Architect and lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across all digital and traditional channels, optimizing performance and ROI through on-going analytics and testing.
  • Cultivate, inspire, and manage a high-performing internal team, as well as external agency partnerships, fostering collaborative innovation, continuing improvement, and ensuring alignment with brand objectives and budget parameters.
  • Drive seamless integration of brand promotions and messaging across all guest touchpoints, including owned channels and on-Pier experiences, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand journey.
  • Enforce brand guidelines and messaging standards, ensuring brand integrity and consistent communication across all internal and external channels.
  • Hone in our brand voice and develop content that communicates to our guests clearly, directly and with a preference to action.
  • Partner with internal teams to conduct in-depth market research and competitive intelligence analysis; identify emerging trends and opportunities to inform strategic decision making and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Champion a guest-centric culture, fostering cross-functional alignment and collaboration to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive brand advocacy.
  • Manage the marketing budget with a focus on optimizing resources and demonstrating accountability for achieving key performance indicators related to brand awareness, guest attendance and revenue growth.
