The role requires providing leadership and guidance to course experts, training SMEs on assessment development protocols, and acting as a liaison between academic and technical experts. The Senior Director will also serve as a key contact for expert committees and communities, driving the strategic growth of AP Computer Science and Cyber globally. Additionally, there are opportunities to present and engage with academic audiences to ensure understanding and support for AP program changes. The role involves significant work in assessment development and scoring (40-50%), assessment quality and process improvement (25-30%), and staff development and capacity building (25-30%), with a smaller component for course development and program support (0-10%).
