About The Position

As a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, the Senior Director, Growth Marketing is responsible for shaping and executing the organization's growth marketing strategy to accelerate business growth, expand market opportunities, strengthen customer engagement, and deliver measurable commercial impact. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, this leader serves as the primary strategic marketing partner to Commercial and Therapeutic Area Leadership, translating business priorities into integrated marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, adoption, and revenue growth. Acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner, the Senior Director brings market insights, customer understanding, and innovative thinking to help influence strategy, identify new opportunities, and advance organizational goals. This role requires an energetic, growth-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, challenges conventional thinking, and inspires teams to deliver results. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, business acumen, and executional excellence, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships and lead transformational marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in growth marketing, strategic marketing, market development, commercialization, or demand generation.
  • Proven success developing integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable business growth and commercial results.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior leaders in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Expertise in customer insights, market intelligence, segmentation, go-to-market strategy, and omnichannel engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams and drive transformational change.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry experience preferred.

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Commercial and Therapeutic Area Leadership, helping shape strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, customer acquisition, and market growth.
  • Translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into actionable marketing strategies and business recommendations.
  • Partner across Marketing, Commercial, Operations, and Strategy to align marketing initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Establish data-driven approaches to segmentation, targeting, customer engagement, and campaign optimization.
