About The Position

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Director, Finance Business Transformation to lead strategic finance transformation initiatives and support post-merger finance integration in the event of an acquisition. This hybrid role is based in Santa Clara, California, within the Finance department and reports to the Vice President, Business Transformation. The role partners with senior Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to build a scalable Finance function and improve customer, vendor, and employee experiences through technology and process transformation. The successful candidate will lead transformation across areas including Record to Report, Source to Pay, and Asset Management; assess the finance technology landscape and partner with IT on systems and architecture; develop an AI-enabled transformation strategy; establish metrics to track progress; modernize controls with Internal Audit; integrate acquired finance organizations and processes; and drive change management. Requirements

12+ years of experience supporting Finance Process and Systems Transformation.
Deep technical knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Source to Pay, Supply Chain, demand planning, FP&A, Quote to Cash, Tax, and Treasury in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Proficiency with enterprise and finance systems and tools such as NetSuite, ServiceNow, Coupa, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving.
Proven program management expertise, including managing multiple complex workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to drive change and facilitate alignment across cross-functional leadership teams.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the technology or SaaS industry supporting cloud-based service offerings, with a deep understanding of SaaS business and finance processes and foundational accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
AI-first mindset and demonstrated ability to architect, build, and implement end-to-end AI-enabled processes.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale finance technology rationalization and system implementation projects, and collaborating with internal and external auditors.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end strategic finance transformation initiatives in areas including Record to Report, Source to Pay, and Asset Management.
Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, CloudOps, Security, Legal, and other functions; use Lean methodology to develop future-state processes that support a scalable Finance function.
Assess the current technology stack, including ERP and finance systems, and partner with IT to implement systems and architecture that support operational excellence.
Work with leadership to design and implement an AI-enabled transformation strategy that improves customer, vendor, and employee experiences.
Develop metrics to track transformation initiatives and process improvements.
Partner with Internal Audit to implement and modernize controls during automation or process changes.
Support integration of an acquired company’s finance organization and processes.
Drive change management efforts supporting transformation.
