About The Position

The VP of Strategic Accounts is responsible for leading Siemens Healthineers's relationships with assigned national and multi-region Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), enterprise health systems, and key strategic accounts. Acting as the enterprise leader and "CEO of the Account," the VP develops and executes comprehensive account strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, executive engagement, and long-term customer partnerships. The VP serves as the primary point of coordination across a matrixed organization, aligning regional sales teams, product organizations, Enterprise Services, Customer Services, and executive leadership to deliver unified customer experience. This role combines strategic account leadership, executive relationship management, commercial accountability, and enterprise opportunity development to achieve both short-term business objectives and long-term growth. The VP leads without direct authority, orchestrating internal resources and influencing stakeholders across multiple geographies and business units to drive customer success and business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of healthcare sales, strategic account management, consulting, or healthcare leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing large IDNs, health systems, or enterprise accounts.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Experience leading complex negotiations and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Track record of driving revenue growth across matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and execute multi-year strategic account plans for assigned health systems and national accounts.
  • Serve as the senior Siemens Healthineers leader responsible for overall account strategy, growth, and customer engagement.
  • Function as the "RVP of the Account," coordinating activities across all customer-facing teams and business units.
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, customer priorities, and enterprise growth opportunities.
  • Establish governance structures, business reviews, and account operating rhythms to ensure strategic alignment and accountability.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-suite executives, service line leaders, procurement teams, clinicians, and key decision makers.
  • Represent Siemens Healthineers at customer headquarters and executive forums.
  • Conduct executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Align Siemens Healthineers' solutions, services, and capabilities with customer strategic initiatives and transformation goals.
  • Expand executive access and strengthen organizational relationships across the customer enterprise.
  • Drive enterprise revenue growth, market share gains, and strategic opportunity development.
  • Expand Siemens Healthineers' installed base, enterprise footprint, and share of wallet.
  • Develop both short-term and long-term growth strategies that increase orders, revenue, and customer value.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance strategic opportunities across Imaging, Advanced Therapies, Digital Solutions, Enterprise Services, and Customer Services.
  • Support competitive conversion strategies and account retention initiatives.
  • Lead complex, multi-site, multi-modality opportunities and enterprise pursuits.
  • Coordinate pursuit teams across sales, product management, service, finance, legal, and operations.
  • Support development of commercial and technical business cases.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations, strategic agreements, and enterprise partnerships.
  • Navigate complex internal processes to accelerate customer outcomes and drive excellence in execution.
  • Lead without direct authority across a matrixed organization spanning regions, business lines, and functional teams.
  • Coordinate strategy execution with AEs, KAEs, PSEs, RVPs, AVPs, Enterprise Services, and Customer Services teams.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and strategy sessions to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Communicate account priorities, action plans, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration and drive execution across multiple customer-facing organizations.
  • Partner with customer leadership to advance clinical, operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
  • Recommend innovative solutions, technologies, services, and consulting capabilities that create measurable customer value.
  • Support implementation governance for strategic projects and enterprise initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships and expand Siemens Healthineers' value proposition.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and internal experts to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Coordinate forecasting activities across regions and business units to provide enterprise account visibility.
  • Monitor performance against growth objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Develop account-specific business plans, opportunity pipelines, and action plans.
  • Maintain executive-level reporting on account performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between account strategies and Siemens Healthineers business objectives.
