About The Position

Hubbell is seeking a visionary digital leader to shape the future of enterprise marketing as the Senior Director of Digital Marketing. This role will lead global strategy across eCommerce, web, social media, and marketing technology platforms. The primary responsibility is the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that meet and exceed Hubbell’s business objectives. The Director will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the Hubbell brand portfolio across global web and digital marketing channels, adhering to corporate brand and brand architecture strategy. The role ensures that all digital properties are bold, innovative, drive measurable engagement, and are built from a user-centered perspective. Additionally, the Director will develop digital and technology strategies that support both brand and revenue-generating opportunities, integrating with the best tools, content, and technology ecosystem. The position involves leading a global team responsible for Hubbell’s eCommerce Enablement, Web Marketing, Social Media, and Marketing Technology platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for B2B digital technology and leveraging it to build strong organizational marketing capabilities, is well-versed in all things digital, and comfortable with a wide array of enterprise technologies and solutions. Candidates located in Farmington, CT, Greenville, SC, or St. Louis, MO are preferred.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience, or the equivalent of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field of study.
  • Experience managing corporate web properties and assets.
  • Experience working across a large matrix organization.
  • Experience managing and building geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with E-commerce program implementation and management.
  • The ability to work independently in delivering high-quality work.
  • Capable of effectively collaborating with global, cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Proven ability to successfully build, coach, motivate, and inspire a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
  • Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cast a vision for Hubbell’s digital marketing organization and develop/implement effective strategies to achieve it.
  • Equip, enable, and provide leadership to a global digital marketing team delivering eCommerce, web marketing, social media, and marketing technology solutions.
  • Oversee the ongoing global digital strategy development, maintenance, and improvement of design and functionality for all Hubbell digital properties, tools, and applications, leveraging deep knowledge of digital design and functionality principles.
  • Develop strategies to drive traffic to Hubbell.com and affiliate websites to grow revenue.
  • Ensure appropriate enterprise-wide marketing technology platforms and products are in place to drive effective digital strategies, monitor performance, and track results, including DAM, PIM, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Work collaboratively and efficiently with other marketing disciplines, Information Technology (IT), Product Management, and other internal stakeholders to drive key enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to select best-in-class third-party partners/vendors and closely manage key vendor relationships.
  • Establish, champion, and disseminate interactive reporting on all efforts.
