About The Position

As a global leader-of-leaders, you will be responsible for advancing Pfizer’s enterprise digital capabilities across Meetings and External Engagements, primarily through MAPP, and through AURA, Pfizer’s cross-enterprise contact center platform. You will set strategy, define roadmaps, and guide product, platform, delivery, and operations teams to deliver secure, compliant, scalable digital solutions that create consistent global experiences and measurable business value. You will own digital strategy and outcomes for platforms that support compliant external stakeholder engagements across more than 140 markets, including high-volume transaction and payment activity. You will also lead the ongoing modernization of AURA, supporting millions of annual interactions with patients, healthcare professionals, colleagues, distributors, wholesalers, and customer support organizations. Success will require strong partnership across business, Digital, product, engineering, operations, risk, compliance, and vendor teams to improve self-service, increase case deflection, reduce contact volume, lower operating costs, and enhance the experience for the populations Pfizer serves.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience leading enterprise technology strategy and execution across multiple complex, global initiatives with clear business outcomes OR Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology strategy and execution across multiple complex, global initiatives with clear business outcomes OR PhD with 7+ years of experience leading enterprise technology strategy and execution across multiple complex, global initiatives with clear business outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience translating complex technology concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations for executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Strong enterprise technology foundation, with experience leading global SaaS platforms, AI-enabled solutions, product and platform strategy, systems integration, automation, data, security, and scalable digital delivery in complex, regulated environments.
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, deep subject matter experts, and diverse technology teams, including product, engineering, architecture, data, security, operations, and vendor partners, to align strategy, resolve ambiguity, and deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Experience leading global organizations across multiple regions, cultures, operating models, and time zones.
  • Success developing and leading senior technology leaders, including Senior Managers, Directors, Architects, and other experienced product, platform, and delivery professionals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience tailoring messages for executive, business, technical, and operational audiences.
  • Experience building trusted relationships, understanding diverse stakeholder needs, and managing conflict constructively across internal and external partner groups.
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Set the integrated global digital strategy, multi-year roadmap, and investment priorities for Meetings and External Engagements solutions, including MAPP, and AURA as Pfizer’s cross-enterprise contact center AI platform.
  • Own end-to-end product and platform outcomes across run, grow, and transform priorities, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, compliant, user-centered, and aligned to measurable business value.
  • Identify, prioritize, and scale responsible AI and automation opportunities that transform business processes across MEET, AURA, and supported functions, improving self-service, decision support, operational efficiency, service quality, compliance, and user experience.
  • Drive modernization of the MAPP ecosystem and related external engagement capabilities to support compliant global engagement processes, regulatory obligations, payment governance, operational efficiency, and evolving business needs across more than 140 markets.
  • Advance AURA as a global enterprise platform that improves customer, patient, HCP, colleague, distributor, wholesaler, and support organization experiences through self-service, intelligent routing, case deflection, reduced contact volume, and lower operating costs.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across GBS, North America Commercial, International Commercial, Research & Development, U.S. Market Access, U.S. Patient Services, Digital, Compliance, Risk, and enabling functions to make portfolio tradeoffs and deliver enterprise outcomes.
  • Establish strong governance for intake, prioritization, delivery execution, value realization, service performance, data quality, vendor performance, financial stewardship, risk management, audit readiness, and lifecycle management.
  • Champion adoption, change management, and operational excellence by translating complex technology capabilities into practical business outcomes, transparent metrics, and sustained improvements in experience, productivity, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a leader-of-leaders organization of product, platform, delivery, operations, architecture, and engineering talent, building organizational capability, succession depth, accountability, and a culture of innovation, quality, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Attract, retain, and grow high-performing global talent by setting clear expectations, creating meaningful development opportunities, strengthening leadership bench depth, and enabling colleagues to grow into broader product, platform, and enterprise technology leadership roles.
