About The Position

K1x is scaling fast, and we're looking for a Senior Director, Demand Generation to relaunch the demand generation function, driving pipeline and customer expansion through a full, integrated lifecycle marketing mix. You'll own the strategy and the scoreboard — designing and running the programs that fill the funnel, partnering shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, and turning our growing brand momentum into real, measurable pipeline. This is a player-coach role for someone who loves both the big picture and the details: you'll set the demand gen vision and roadmap, lead a small and mighty team, manage key agency partners, and get hands-on with everything from ABM to events to lifecycle nurture. You'll report directly to our SVP of Marketing and have real influence over how K1x goes to market. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing, with a track record of driving measurable pipeline and revenue impact at a B2B SaaS company.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to exec teams
• Experience owning a pipeline number, and confidence in reporting and forecasting the full funnel
• Experience managing and developing a team, with the flexibility to stay hands-on as a true player-coach.
• A track record of using hosted events (virtual and in-person) as a real pipeline driver, not just a brand exercise.
• Deep understanding of lifecycle/nurture marketing and how to move buyers and customers through the funnel.
• Experience managing agency relationships and digital budgets, with a sharp analytical eye for ROI.
• Fluency with a modern marketing stack (HubSpot experience preferred)
• Excellent collaboration skills — you build real partnership with Business Development, Sales, Product Marketing, and RevOps, not just alignment on paper.

Nice To Haves

• Fintech, tax, accounting, or private markets experience is a strong plus, but not required — what matters most is demand gen chops and a hunger to build.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own K1x's demand generation strategy end-to-end — building the annual and quarterly plan, setting pipeline targets, and defining the channel mix, budget, and KPIs to get there.
• Partner with the SVP of Marketing and sales leadership to align the plan with company growth goals and bookings targets.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of high-performing marketers, acting as a true player-coach who's happy to roll up your sleeves.
• Continuously test, measure, and evolve programs — doubling down on what works and killing what doesn't.
• Build and own the reporting and dashboards that show marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue — by channel, campaign, and funnel stage.
• Partner closely with Sales and RevOps on pipeline health, forecasting, and lead-to-opportunity conversion.
• Establish tight feedback loops with Business Development and Sales on lead quality, routing, SLAs, and follow-up to keep conversion climbing. No lead left behind!
• Present results and recommendations with clarity and confidence to marketing and sales leadership.
• Own the digital strategy across paid search, paid social, AEO, display, and retargeting to drive efficient, scalable pipeline.
• Manage agency and vendor partners, holding them to a high bar on performance and ROI.
• Partner with marketing ops to develop landing pages, tracking, and conversion rate optimization.
• Manage program budget with a sharp eye on efficiency, re-allocating spend toward what's driving results.
• Design and run K1x's hosted events strategy — webinars, roundtables, and in-person experiences — as a core pipeline channel.
• Own event strategy end-to-end: concept, promotion, speaker and partner coordination, logistics, and follow-up.
• Set up scalable lead capture, routing, and attribution so every event ties back to pipeline impact (new and expansion).
• Measure ROI on every event and use the data to sharpen topics, formats, and targeting over time.
• Partner with Client Enablement and AM teams on dedicated customer events to support cross-sell / upsell motions.
• Build and scale an account-based marketing strategy targeting K1x's highest-potential accounts (1:1 and 1:few).
• Partner tightly with Business Development & Sales on coordinated account plans, personalized content, and multi-channel engagement.
• Build an effective playbook over time that can be scaled across different segments and continuously optimized.
• Own the lifecycle and nurture strategy across the full customer and prospect journey — from first touch through expansion.
• Build automated nurture programs that move leads through the funnel and keep customers engaged post-sale.
• Partner with product marketing to develop lifecycle content and messaging that resonates at every stage.
• Continuously test and refine lifecycle programs based on engagement, conversion, and retention data.
