Senior Director, Corporate Development

TerraPower•Everett, WA

About The Position

The Senior Director of Corporate Development owns the long-horizon growth architecture of TerraPower Isotopes across mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, alternative revenue structures, and capital planning. Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial and Strategy, the role is distinct from day-to-day sales and account management and focuses on determining which organizations TPI should work with, on what terms, and how the business should be financed. The successful candidate will bring transaction experience in radiopharmaceuticals or nuclear medicine, financial expertise to independently value and structure deals, and the ability to operate as a senior individual contributor while the company scales through a capital-intensive build. The position also develops revenue and financing approaches, tracks market and pipeline developments, and ensures corporate development activity complies with applicable export control, antitrust, competition, and confidentiality requirements. Regular travel to TerraPower Isotopes facilities, counterparty sites, and international partner locations is required; the stated travel range is 0–10%. TerraPower Isotopes is part of TerraPower, a Washington State-based company focused on new nuclear technologies and advancing medical isotope development for radiotherapies and other nuclear-related medical treatments. TerraPower is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The work involves extended sitting, bending or stooping, grasping or gripping, fine motor control, prolonged repetitive work, visually and aurally focused tasks, stairs, and typing or keyboard use. The standard working environment may involve more than eight hours per day. Physical exertion is minimal, with the ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds. Workplace accommodations may be considered on a case-by-case basis following an individualized assessment.

  • Deep working knowledge of the radiopharmaceutical value chain, including isotope production economics, clinical development timelines, and the reimbursement environment for radiotherapeutics.

  • Develop and maintain the long-range financial plan linking production capacity expansion, revenue ramp, and capital requirements.
  • Evaluate equity, debt, project finance, government, and strategic-partner funding alternatives based on cost of capital, dilution, covenants, and control.
