About The Position

The Senior Director of Corporate Development will be the company’s dedicated M&A execution leader and financial services strategist. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) with a strategic dotted-line reporting relationship into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This leader will serve as a strategic bridge between renewable energy assets and the financial markets; and this role is also responsible for translating the corporate strategy into successful, value-accretive transactions. The Senior Director holds primary responsibility for transaction discipline, financial diligence, negotiation support, and post-merger integration (PMI) oversight, while proactively cultivating relationships with institutional investors to enhance asset bankability and market footprint.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in transaction-intensive roles (Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Private Equity).
  • Proven track record of successfully leading, structuring, and closing multiple M&A transactions (ideally in the $25M - $200M enterprise value range) within the renewable energy, technology, SaaS, or FinTech sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams and managing external financial/legal advisors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required.

  • Strong preference for candidates with deep experience in Renewable Energy Finance.
  • MBA from a top-tier program highly preferred.
