Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant leadership experience (Controller / Assistant Controller level) in high-growth technology, manufacturing, or defense environments.
  • Proven track record of leading, scaling, and mentoring large, geographically distributed accounting teams with high EQ and strong communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP, operational accounting workflows (GL, AP, AR, Revenue, Inventory/Cost), international entity management, and M&A integration.
  • Strong background in leveraging and optimizing enterprise ERP ecosystems (such as Oracle Fusion) and modern boundary tools.
  • Able to get your hands dirty to drive execution while maintaining the ability to manage high-level strategic priorities in a fast-paced organization.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

  • CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing, multi-disciplinary accounting organization spanning domestic and international accounting as well as M&A integration.
  • Oversee the end-to-end global financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order management, cost accounting, and revenue operations.
  • Direct and support regional accounting operations and compliance across growing international entities, including EMEA, APAC, and the UK.
  • Partner closely with the Director, M&A Accounting to ensure seamless integration of acquired entities, closing/opening balance sheet crosswalks, and operational onboarding into Anduril’s ecosystem.
  • Manage the execution of the annual consolidated group audit, component audits, and regional statutory audits across all domestic and international entities, partnering closely with external auditors to ensure timely, efficient, and clean deliverables.
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and scalability across Anduril’s modern ERP ecosystem (Oracle Fusion) and connected boundary systems.
  • Establish, enhance, and maintain robust accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures to support rapid business expansion and potential future public company requirements.
  • Build highly effective working relationships with key leadership across Technical Accounting & Reporting, Government Financial Operations, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and CorpTech.
