About The Position

Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway. The Opportunity: Reporting to the Vice-President & General Manager (GM) of Canada, this role will be a core member of the Canadian Leadership Team who will help build the RevMed Canada presence and lead the effort to bring the RevMed portfolio to patients in Canada. The Head of Commercial will play a critical role leading the successful launch readiness planning and go-to-market strategy and execution for Daroxonrasib and the RevMed portfolio across indications. The role requires hands-on involvement in building RevMed’s Canadian team from start-up phase; shaping and executing the build of the organization across marketing, sales, market access & pricing, commercial excellence and to work closely with the global team on building an aligned strategy and plans. As a member of the Canada Leadership team, this role will play a critical role in shaping overall RevMed Canada strategy and work cross functionally to achieve broader RevMed Canada organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, market access, market development, product planning, or commercial strategy within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong skills in people management and creating high performing teams from the ground up.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in successfully launching and commercializing products in Canada.
  • Experience in supporting a startup atmosphere and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international setting.

Responsibilities

  • Define the portfolio vision and establish the commercialization strategy for Daroxonrasib and the RevMed pipeline in Canada in collaboration with the local team and stakeholders as well as key Global stakeholders across functions.
  • Own the Canada operational plans by building a competitive, cross-functional launch plan, strategic imperatives/must wins and tactics that set a foundation for launch success of the first RevMed blockbuster.
  • Collaborate with global commercial development, global value, access and pricing teams to ensure Canadian market needs are identified, understood and plans aligned.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, clinical, medical affairs, market access, customer engagement, patient advocacy, corporate affairs etc. to analyze and interpret clinical trial data, and leverage insights to make informed recommendations to the global teams as well as regional regulatory and market access colleagues about the direction of the product program, and develop and implement launch strategies.
  • Contribute to the global development of brand and patient value propositions based on clinical data and market insights.
  • Lead the preparation of the Canada commercial strategy by facilitating initial commercial assessments, generation of proposals for the Canadian marketing and sales model for the launch and beyond, selection of communication and distributions channels, market assessments, and initial value and pricing input into the global strategy
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive landscape assessments, and identify key trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure appropriate account targeting, account opening and comprehensive metrics plan around field teams
  • Provide expertise in current and future healthcare market trends impacting RevMed portfolio, starting with Daroxonrasib in Pancreatic and Lung cancers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs across all key tumors including pancreatic and lung cancer to enhance the company's scientific and commercial credibility.
  • Engage with KOLs to gather insights, validate launch plans, and support market development activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and organizations, regulatory bodies, patient advocacy groups, and industry partners.
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners to align goals and expectations.
  • Represent the company at conferences, industry events, and regulatory meetings as per our company mission.
