Senior Director, Client Engagement (US)

Code and Theory•New York, NY
•$150,000 - $200,000

About The Position

The Senior Director, Client Engagement owns the partner relationship across a portfolio of independently run programs. The role translates partner needs into clear direction for delivery teams, brings teams together to produce high-quality, impactful outcomes, and builds trusted relationships with senior partner stakeholders. Each program has a delivery lead who owns day-to-day execution. This is an individual-contributor position that leads through influence and relationship credibility rather than reporting authority. The current portfolio includes an internal platform build that gives the partner’s sales organization better account intelligence and signal aggregation; data and architecture advisory work aligning sales and marketing pipeline systems; and seller enablement and capability-building for the partner’s field and account teams. The Senior Director serves as the single front door for the partner, synthesizes developments across programs, owns portfolio-level QBR and SteerCo materials and discussions, and monitors client satisfaction, growth opportunities, commercial health, and margin. The role communicates technical and operational complexity to executive stakeholders, determines which issues require SteerCo visibility, handles escalations, and steps in wherever the relationship needs support. Code and Theory is a digital-first creative agency founded in 2001, working at the intersection of creativity and technology. Its global client roster includes Fortune 100 companies and start-ups, and its teams are distributed across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The Code and Theory network includes nearly 2,000 people, with 50% engineers and 50% creative talent. The compensation target range for this role is $150,000–$200,000; actual compensation depends on factors including skill set, experience, and location.
