About The Position

HYVE Solutions is seeking a Senior Director, Business Operations to lead the IT Project Management & AI Delivery Team. This role involves providing strategic and people leadership for IT Project Managers who deliver traditional IT initiatives, digital transformation programs, and AI-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will set clear standards, priorities, and ways of working to ensure consistent, high-impact delivery. This position will own the IT & AI Project Portfolio, overseeing intake, prioritization, and execution while balancing run, build, and innovation work. A key aspect of this role is enabling AI-Driven Transformation by partnering with IT, Security, Data, and Business leaders to operationalize AI initiatives, ensuring governance, model readiness, data availability, change adoption, and responsible AI practices are considered. The role also drives Cross-Functional Execution by working closely with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT to align project delivery plans, resources, and timelines. Establishing strong project governance, risk management, and compliance across IT and AI initiatives is crucial, as is guiding budgeting and resourcing decisions for project-related investments, especially for emerging AI technologies. Finally, the Senior Director will champion change and adoption for IT and AI initiatives, embedding agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field required
  • 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing IT project teams, PMOs, or enterprise delivery organizations, with exposure to emerging technology or AI‑driven initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling IT Project Management teams, implementing governance and ITSM practices, and leading complex, cross‑functional programs—ideally including digital or AI components.
  • Comfortable translating AI strategy into executable initiatives, asking the right questions around value, risk, readiness, and adoption—even without being a hands‑on technologist.
  • Strong communicator and influencer who can engage PMs, technical leaders, and executives alike—aligning stakeholders and driving outcomes without micromanagement.
  • Skilled at navigating fast‑changing priorities, ambiguous problem spaces, and evolving technologies—bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to the project organization.

  • Guide Budgeting & Resourcing Decisions: Own project‑related budgeting and resource planning, helping business leaders make informed trade‑offs across people, funding, and timelines—particularly for emerging AI investments.
  • Champion Change & Adoption: Lead change management for IT and AI initiatives, helping teams adapt to new tools, processes, and ways of working while embedding agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.
