About The Position

This role provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices. It involves analyzing costs and forecasts, determining and supporting resource requirements, evaluating operational processes, measuring outcomes, and identifying improvement opportunities. The position drives business growth by developing and maintaining high-level internal and external business relationships, understanding and managing mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits, and supporting engagement with stakeholders to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and realize business objectives. It also sets and guides the overall sales strategy, manages key accounts, oversees outside purchases, and ensures partners meet contractual terms. The role drives the development and implementation of business development initiatives, evaluates customer demand and viability of initiatives, and oversees program implementation. It directs and oversees business unit budgets and financials by reviewing P&L accounts, evaluating budget tradeoffs, approving project budgets, and modifying budgets as needed. Additionally, it focuses on developing and implementing strategies to attract and maintain a skilled workforce, cultivating an environment of integrity and ethics, and leveraging internal and external partnerships. The role emphasizes respecting individuals, building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of belonging, developing talent through feedback and coaching, and building strong, trusting relationships. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 6 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 8 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience.
