About The Position

Experian is seeking a Senior Director to lead the integration of artificial intelligence into software platforms serving business clients and their end customers. The role leads engineering teams across three countries and establishes standards for software delivery and support. It balances enterprise security and compliance with intelligent consumer experiences, while helping global teams work more efficiently with AI-assisted development tools.

The position will lead an organization-wide strategy for embedding AI in engineering, modernize the software development lifecycle, and drive adoption, security compliance, and training for AI development platforms. It will also integrate AI capabilities into core platforms and guide teams toward intent-driven development workflows. The position reports to the VP, Partner Solutions Engineering and is based in or near one of Experian’s designated collaboration hubs.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software application development.
• 5+ years leading multi-layered engineering organizations, managing managers and distributed international teams.
• Hands-on technical management experience with AWS, .NET, Java, React, Salesforce, and MuleSoft environments.
• Experience in B2B2C, B2B, or high-scale B2C SaaS environments, including architecture complexity, tenant isolation, and data privacy requirements.
• Direct experience deploying and scaling AI development tools such as GitHub, Claude, Copilot, Cursor AI, and Kiro across an engineering organization.
• Experience building products using an AI-DLC process, including application-level integrations and agentic AI tools such as Amazon Kiro.
• Track record leading major technical or cultural transformations across large, distributed engineering teams.
• Reside in or near one of the designated collaboration hubs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global strategy to embed AI across the engineering organization and establish consistent delivery speed and quality standards.
• Manage and mentor engineering leaders across three countries, fostering collaboration and experimentation.
• Modernize the software development lifecycle with AI coding tools for code generation, testing, and localization.
• Drive company-wide adoption, security compliance, and training for AI development platforms.
• Shift engineering teams toward intent-driven workflows, including spec-driven AI-DLC frameworks and Model Context Protocol integrations.
• Integrate AI capabilities into React frontends, .NET and Java microservices, Salesforce, and MuleSoft.
• Partner with global teams to balance feature delivery speed with enterprise-grade security and compliance.
