As our Senior Digital Workplace Specialist, you’ll play a key role in designing, optimizing, and supporting our digital collaboration ecosystem. Working closely with business teams, IT, and leadership, you’ll ensure our tools and platforms are simple, secure, and effective—empowering people to do their best work every day. You’ll also lead adoption initiatives, establish governance best practices, and help drive the future of how we work at Sandbox.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in IT, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years in digital workplace, collaboration platforms, or Microsoft 365 administration/support
  • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, collaboration and content platforms)
  • Experience managing workspace provisioning, permissions, lifecycle management, and information structure
  • Understanding of information governance and compliance concepts (e.g., retention, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery, DLP, Microsoft Purview)
  • Experience building workflows and solutions using Power Platform or similar tools
  • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Copilot) and their governance considerations
  • Strong skills in training, communication, and driving user engagement
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, interpret service health information, and coordinate resolutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance
  • Proven ability to build relationships across teams and influence outcomes
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment

Responsibilities

  • Designing, configuring, and supporting digital workplace tools across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, and related platforms)
  • Managing and optimizing collaboration environments, including content management, intranet capabilities, and hybrid work tools
  • Establishing and maintaining governance standards for collaboration spaces, permissions, lifecycle management, and information architecture
  • Translating business needs into practical solutions, improving workflows, and enhancing user experiences
  • Leading rollout, testing, and release of new solutions, features, and automation enhancements
  • Building and improving automated workflows and integrations using tools like Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Driving adoption through training, communications, job aids, and engagement with champions and super users
  • Promoting digital literacy and modern ways of working through workshops, coaching, and enablement programs
  • Monitoring usage and adoption metrics to identify opportunities and continuously improve user experience
  • Supporting AI-enabled productivity tools and ensuring safe, effective adoption practices
  • Troubleshooting collaboration platform issues and partnering with internal teams and vendors to resolve them
  • Partnering with business units and leadership to ensure solutions align with strategic goals and enhance employee experience
