About The Position

The Senior Energy Management Software Sales Executive is a highly experienced, customer‑facing sales role responsible for driving complex, high‑value software opportunities across Schneider Electric’s Energy Management Software portfolio. Reporting to the Energy Management Software Portfolio Manager, this role is accountable for executive‑level selling, complex deal orchestration, and solution specification, with a strong emphasis on Digital Twin technologies, enterprise customers, and strategic partners. This position is intended for internal candidates with deep sales experience, strong technical credibility, and a proven ability to engage C‑suite and senior technical decision‑makers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including complex B2B or enterprise solution selling.
  • Demonstrated experience selling software, digital platforms, or advanced technical solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Digital Twin concepts, energy management systems, or related industrial software domains.
  • Proven ability to engage in executive‑level selling, including C‑suite and senior technical leadership.
  • Experience with application specification, solution shaping, or consultative selling in technically complex environments.
  • Strong familiarity with Schneider Electric’s offers, customers, sales processes, and matrixed operating model.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support strategic customer and partner engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles for Energy Management Software solutions, often involving enterprise customers, consultants, EPCs, and system integrators.
  • Engage confidently with executive, operations, engineering, and IT leaders to position Schneider Electric’s software and Digital Twin capabilities as strategic business enablers.
  • Drive large, strategic software opportunities from early shaping through contract closure, including commercial strategy and negotiation support.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on Digital Twin concepts, including electrical and energy system modeling, analytics, and lifecycle value.
  • Translate customer operational and business requirements into application‑level software specifications, working closely with technical, offer management, and delivery teams.
  • Support solution definition, scope clarity, and value articulation to ensure alignment between customer expectations and Schneider Electric capabilities.
  • Develop and execute account‑level software strategies in partnership with Schneider Electric account teams.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within the installed base by positioning software as a lever for operational performance, risk reduction, and sustainability outcomes.
  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for key customer engagements and strategic pursuits.
  • Work closely with system integrators, EcoXpert partners, consultants, and channel partners to shape and close indirect software opportunities.
  • Support partner‑led solution design and customer engagements where advanced software and Digital Twin expertise is required.
  • Reinforce Schneider Electric’s role as a technology and digital transformation partner, not just a product supplier.
  • Build and manage a high‑quality pipeline of strategic, software‑centric opportunities aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and deal transparency, including risk assessment, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
  • Execute against commercial programs, incentives, and go‑to‑market priorities defined by the Energy Management Software Portfolio Manager.
  • Collaborate with marketing, offer management, and global product teams to support launches, customer briefings, and strategic pursuits.
