About The Position

Texas Instruments is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to help architect and develop high-speed digital data processing and mixed-signal communication circuits using advanced semiconductor process technologies. The products serve terrestrial and space applications. The role spans the design flow from architectural definition through place-and-route and involves partnering with analog design teams to create and test mixed-signal products. The engineer will lead a digital design team of 2–4 people and own products from definition through release to manufacturing. The position also includes coordinating project work, developing team members, collaborating with customers and cross-functional groups, and contributing to product roadmaps and new concepts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of relevant digital design experience.
  • Successfully taped out multiple devices.
  • Thorough understanding of digital logic design from architectural definition through release to manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SystemVerilog.
  • Ability to solve problems systematically and efficiently.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and technical innovation.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Design leadership experience.
  • Good understanding of SystemVerilog.
  • Strong programming skills, such as Perl, Python, TCL, or C.
  • Strong grasp of digital signal processing techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
