About The Position

We are supporting a capital markets client through a critical hardware refresh and modernization initiative. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end infrastructure transformation—from discovery and benchmarking through to deployment and validation. You will work across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of hardware refresh activities while enhancing operational efficiency and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering roles within complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of hardware refresh cycles, server provisioning, and OS deployment (Linux/Windows)
  • Experience with environment buildouts, configuration management, and deployment automation tools
  • Ability to document processes, analyze current state environments, and define measurable KPIs
  • This role requires fully bilingual proficiency in French and English - written and verbal. French is required to support clients in Quebec, and English is used for collaboration across Capco’s global organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within capital markets or financial services environments
  • Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure upgrade programs
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure models
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience working in consulting or client-facing delivery roles

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery activities and produce comprehensive current state documentation and process maps
  • Define benchmarking frameworks and establish KPIs to measure infrastructure performance and success
  • Support hardware refresh initiatives, including inventory analysis and planning
  • Oversee environment deployment, hardware provisioning, and operating system installation
  • Drive server configuration, application deployment, and validation to ensure production readiness
