Requirements

1+ years of industry experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab-CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Experience with and Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
1+ years of experience with build tools like Bazel, GNU Make, Cmake, Gradle.
Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, Bash or similar languages.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Proficient with Observability platforms and tooling (DataDog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, ELK Stack)

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable and fault-tolerant CI/CD pipelines for software delivery and deployment.
Champion the integrity of the build system.
Analyze requirements and help onboard new components and software stacks.
Integrate third-party and open-source software in the build system.
Identify requirements and develop tools to enhance developer productivity in the build environment.
Collaborate closely with development and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient release management and development processes.
Work with other cross-functional teams and convert business requirements into engineering requirements.
Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of production systems.
Implement and manage containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to enable scalable and portable deployments.
Bridge the gap between software development and vehicle deployment, ensuring that our software build automation is as high-tech as the product we build.
