About The Position

Software Mind is seeking a Senior DevOps Manager to lead a DevOps team for a client in the real estate sector. This role involves a comprehensive replatforming and cloud migration journey, focusing on transitioning subsidiary services from on-premises infrastructure to a modern, AWS-integrated environment. The position requires ensuring stable, secure, and highly available IT operations, managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and driving improvements in monitoring, alerting, and incident management.

Requirements

Proven experience in DevOps / Infrastructure leadership roles, including managing and mentoring technical teams
Strong hands-on experience with Linux, on-premises infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and other modern DevOps / IaC tools
Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident management, and infrastructure security best practices
Practical experience with cloud environments and supporting cloud migration initiatives (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
English and German language proficiency

Responsibilities

Ensure stable, secure, and highly available IT operations
Build and lead a DevOps team
Manage and continuously improve existing infrastructure (currently mainly on-premises)
Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Drive improvements in monitoring, alerting, and incident management
Support and guide cloud migration activities
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve release quality and speed
