About The Position

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Automation and Middleware. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DevOps tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated workflows, scripting solutions, and supporting critical middleware platforms like WebLogic and JBoss. This role requires a solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and the ability to troubleshoot complex deployment issues. Collaboration with development and QA teams is key to ensuring smooth integration and release processes, while adhering to best practices in security and compliance.

Requirements

• Strong experience with DevOps tools and automation.
• Expertise in GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in YAML scripting and workflow design.
• Strong scripting expertise in Shell, Bash, and YAML.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with middleware technologies including WebLogic 12c / 14c and JBoss 7.4 / 8.1.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and automation practices.
• Experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Azure Cloud including AKS, App Services, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Client templates.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflows.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable workflows to improve deployment efficiency.
• Build and maintain scripts including Shell, Bash, Python, YAML, and PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.
• Manage and support middleware platforms including WebLogic 12c / 14c and JBoss 7.4 / 8.1.
• Automate application deployments, patching, and environment provisioning across middleware environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and DevOps best practices.
