Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI) is seeking a DevOps Integration Automation Engineer to support our growing modernization team. SFI was recently awarded the 2025 USA Today National Top Places to Work award and the 2025 Washington Post Top Workplaces. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on engineering to expand the use of Azure DevOps (ADO), automate application release and deployment processes, and integrate development, testing, security, configuration management, and release-management capabilities supporting PeopleSoft HCM and related enterprise systems. This role is focused on Azure DevOps Repos/Git, Azure Pipelines, mature DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, and integration across the software delivery lifecycle. The candidate will design and implement governed pipelines, automated stage gates, security and quality checks, deployment automation, and end-to-end traceability between Agile work, source changes, testing, releases, and deployments. A key focus of the role will be integrating Azure DevOps with the existing PeopleSoft delivery environment, including opportunities to use Azure Pipelines and automation to coordinate with PHIRE and other PeopleSoft release and migration processes. Prior PeopleSoft or PHIRE experience is beneficial but not required; strong DevSecOps, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, automation, and systems-integration experience is more important. The candidate will work closely with developers, release-management teams, test automation engineers, infrastructure personnel, DBAs, and cybersecurity teams to improve the speed, consistency, security, traceability, and repeatability of software delivery for mission-critical Federal Government systems.
