Senior DevOps Engineer
About The Position
We are hiring for our team a Senior DevOps Engineer. Who will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches. Takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities. Provides prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology. Join our International Team and help us to create greenfield software for one of the biggest and most important project in Deutsche Telekom Group. Being part of our team, you will have an impact on our 30 million Customers, who will use our product to request Fiber network to their homes and to track our progress of installation. Our product is a set of applications and websites to support end-to-end processes covering areas: Fiber pre-ordering, ordering, installation, service management & customer support.
Requirements
- Secondary education of Information technologies – Master
- Experiences with ICT System – 4 years
- Experience with Scripting (Bash, Python) – Expert
- Experience with Linux Operating System – Expert
- Experience with OTC / AWS / Azure – Intermediate
- Experience with Docker – Expert
- Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift – Advanced
- Experience with Git – Expert
- Experience with Jenkins / GitLab – Advanced
- Experience with Maven / Gradle – Intermediate
- Experience with Ansible / Terraform / Puppet – Advanced
- Experience with ELK / Prometheus / Icinga / Jaeger / Grafana – Advanced
- Experience with Networking - Expert
- Experience with Security - Advanced
- Communicative, team player and have analytical thinking, training skills and presentation skills
- Speak English – Upper intermediate (B2)
- Experiences with Agile Methodology, Scrum and SAFe
Responsibilities
- Ensure automation of deployments, configuration management, containerization, release management, monitoring, lifecycle support (pipelines), information and documentation services.
- Opportunity to research and grow state-of-the-art automation solutions.
- Designs, develops, tests and implements infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
- Manages source code, configuration management, release management, build and deployment activities.
- Setups and manages integration with partner applications.
- Conducts of performance analyses and tunings as well as error analyses and troubleshooting.
- Consults and implements new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy.
- Creates concepts for further automation of services, processes and/or operating models.
- Directly support the project teams in the development, quality assurance accompanying development as well as planning and implementation of product releases.
- Continuously optimizes the development and system infrastructure.
- Provides consulting to project teams on areas of expertise also Prototypes/Proof of Concept solutions.
- Researches and develops in assigned technology, determines business requirements, proposes changes and prepares implementation plans.
