About The Position

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and support the development, automation, and operation of cloud-based platforms for a customer in the financial services sector. In this role, you will design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development teams to improve automation, platform reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
Strong experience with Kubernetes.
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps practices.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Good understanding of networking concepts, including NGINX, Traefik, TCP/IP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Experience with monitoring and observability.
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of security best practices and platform quality.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to improve existing systems and drive DevOps best practices.
Strong collaboration and customer-oriented mindset.
Good English communication skills.
Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Workflows, and GitOps practices.
Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
Configure and troubleshoot NGINX, Traefik, and networking components.
Monitor platform health and investigate production issues.
Apply security, automation, and operational best practices.
Work closely with development teams to improve application delivery and platform reliability.
Support and mentor less experienced engineers.
