About The Position

LVIS is looking for a senior DevOps engineer who is responsible for commercial cloud-based big-data-driven medical analysis software in the cloud and management for continuously scaling services. A successful candidate would have a background in both software development and systems, familiarity with AWS and Linux servers, and a drive for automation, configuration as data, and enabling rapid development iterations.

Requirements

• 7+ years DevOps/Software Engineer
• IaC/Config: Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt, Kustomize, Helm
• CI/CD Tools: Experience one of CI tools eg. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions. And CD tools eg. ArgoCD, FluxCD
• Containers and container orchestration platforms (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Cloud Platforms: Advanced knowledge of AWS
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Application and Resource Management on Kubernetes environment utilizing multi-cluster EKS.
• Setting up CI/CD pipelines for application testing, releasing and deployment with GitOps practices (preferred Teamcity, Jenkins and ArgoCD or FluxCD)
• Site Reliability engineering practices with Monitoring and Logging. Detecting and Alerting incidents using Observability stacks (ELK is preferred).
• Cost Analyze and optimization on AWS for a scalable applications and databases
• Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) working closely with Regulation Team
• Designing automated test environments with QA Teams and creating automated reports and dashboards
• Designing for backup systems and operation experience
• Developing and Managing deployment strategies
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and the software development lifecycle.
• A passion for continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and software engineering.
