About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer at our Palo Alto, CA location to enable seamless software delivery, ensure application health, and optimize operational performance by fostering collaboration across teams. This role drives automation, compliance, and best practices to enhance software delivery efficiency and effectiveness. The engineer will develop and automate infrastructure and workflows, aligned with best practices and operational goals, to streamline software delivery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as Application and Platform Engineering, is key to ensure smooth and frequent software delivery and improve software performance and health. The role also involves monitoring system performance and working with cross-functional teams to incorporate incident feedback into future updates, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in software delivery and operational standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities
