About The Position

Bitsight is seeking an experienced, adaptable Senior DevOps Engineer to join its multicultural DevOps team within Platform Engineering. The team streamlines and automates development and operations to enable faster, more efficient, and reliable software delivery. Development and DevOps work as one engineering team, without silos, to deliver business value. This engineer will serve as a technical reference and strategic leader, operating and improving Bitsight’s SaaS cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and security. The role is remote within the United States and limited to the Eastern Time Zone. Occasional off-shift availability may be needed for production issues or maintenance. The engineer will lead complex system-level design and problem solving, anticipate performance and scalability issues, and advance infrastructure automation and AI-enabled delivery. AI-assisted infrastructure work must be manually and staging validated before production, with its operational quality, costs, and return on investment actively managed. The role also contributes to team efficiency and cross-team technical decisions, sets infrastructure best practices, promotes high-quality documentation, and mentors early-stage senior engineers. Bitsight provides a base salary range of $106,000–$150,000 annually for US-based employees, plus eligibility for a bonus or commission plan and an equity grant. The company offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave; flexible time off; a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities; life and disability insurance; and tuition reimbursement. Bitsight is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities or sincerely held religious beliefs.
