About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, secure, automate, and operate cloud or enterprise infrastructure and platforms. The role focuses on availability, scalability, security, observability, automation, and dependable service operations. The successful candidate will use practical expertise in CI/CD, Git, scripting, build and release automation, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment controls. They will work with cross-functional teams and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

This is a remote, full-time, direct W-2 position. The stated annual salary range is $115,000–$165,000. The employer is unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position; U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of experience in a related professional role; the exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with CI/CD, Git, scripting, build and release automation, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment controls.
• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the role.
• Hands-on knowledge of the named cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues methodically.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Additional hands-on depth in CI/CD, Git, scripting, build and release automation, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment controls.
• Experience mentoring peers, reviewing technical work, and guiding delivery decisions.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, configure, and operate cloud or infrastructure components using approved architecture patterns.
• Automate repeatable provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability controls.
• Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records.
• Collaborate across engineering and operations.
