About The Position

Lydia AI is building ORCA, an agentic AI platform that helps businesses research, analyze, and present complex information using AI-powered workflows. ORCA is designed for work that requires expert-level research, judgment, and decision-making to move forward. It helps teams turn fragmented information, manual analysis, and complex business questions into structured, decision-ready outputs. Use cases include market intelligence, financial research, loan origination, and other workflows where businesses need to move from research to action faster. The Opportunity We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us maintain and improve the infrastructure behind Lydia AI’s data and agentic systems. You’ll work with our developers and data teams to build efficient pipelines, ensure smooth deployments, and keep our environments secure and stable. This role is great for someone with 3–5 years of experience who enjoys solving practical infrastructure problems, automating repetitive tasks, and learning new technologies in a global AI environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of AWS (EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch) or equivalent cloud services.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Comfortable working with Linux servers and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with Docker containers; some exposure to Kubernetes preferred.
  • Basic scripting ability in Bash, Python, or similar for automation.
  • Familiar with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, or similar).
  • Understanding of data pipelines or AI/ML system deployment.
  • Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of Lydia AI’s services on AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and releases.
  • Help set up and manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for consistent, repeatable setups.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability.
  • Contribute to security and compliance practices as part of ongoing SOC2 / ISO27001 work.
