Senior DevOps Engineer for PACCA program (m/f/d)
About The Position
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. This role involves defining and managing automated configuration management, release management, build, test, and deployment activities. The engineer will also provide prototypes and concepts for further automation within the assigned technology. The PACCA program aims to create transparency about the patch-status of cloud and on-premises environments by centrally rolling out and automating a workflow application named IBM Concert. This area also provides products, services, and processes to ensure cloud deployments of Deutsche Telekom IT are secured by default with reasonable effort, minimizing manual investment in enabling Privacy and Security Assessment for applications and data.
Requirements
- Secondary education of Information technologies – Master
- Experiences with ICT System – 4 years
- Experience with Scripting (Bash, Python) – Expert
- Experience with Linux Operating System – Expert
- Experience with AWS / Azure – Intermediate
- Experience with Docker, K8S – Advanced
- Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift – Advanced
- Experience with Git – Expert
- Experience with Jenkins / GitLab – Advanced
- Experience with Ansible – Advanced
- Experience with ELK / Prometheus / Icinga / Jaeger / Grafana – Advanced
- Experience with Networking - Expert
- Experience with Security - Advanced
- Communicative, team player, analytical thinking, training skills and presentation skills
- English – Upper intermediate (B2)
- Experiences with Agile Methodology, Scrum and SAFe
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, tests, and implements infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
- Supports complex projects with regard to drafting, development, deployment, and quality assurance up to production.
- Manages continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Develops and implements strategies for automated integration and delivery of cloud-related security requirements.
- Works closely with cloud landing zones with DevOps teams as stakeholders to innovate process efficiency and performance of software and system landscapes.
- Conducts performance analyses and tunings, as well as error analyses and troubleshooting.
- Consults and implements new innovative technologies to satisfy innovation strategy.
- Creates concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operating models.
- Continuously optimizes the development and system infrastructure.
- Provides consulting to project teams on areas of expertise.
- Develops Prototypes/Proof of Concept solutions.
