About The Position

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in DevOps tools, CI/CD automation, and scripting, as well as expertise in middleware platforms such as WebLogic and JBoss. The role drives automation initiatives, streamlines deployment processes, and supports enterprise-grade middleware environments.

The engineer designs and implements CI/CD pipelines and reusable automation workflows, writes scripts for operational tasks, and manages middleware platforms. The role also includes automating deployments, patching, and environment provisioning; troubleshooting build, deployment, and infrastructure issues; collaborating with development and QA teams; and supporting security, compliance, and DevOps best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with DevOps tools and automation, including GitHub Actions, YAML scripting, and workflow design.
• Strong mandatory scripting expertise in Shell, Bash, YAML, and Python or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with WebLogic 12c / 14c and JBoss 7.4 / 8.1.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, release management, and automation practices.
• Experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues.
• Strong automation-first mindset.
• Deep troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working in enterprise, multi-environment setups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent collaboration abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Azure Cloud, including AKS, App Services, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools, including Terraform and Client templates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable workflows to improve deployment efficiency.
• Build and maintain scripts using Shell, Bash, Python, YAML, and PowerShell for automation and operational tasks.

• Automate application deployments, patching, and environment provisioning across middleware environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and release processes.
