To support this mission, OSIT has embarked on a multi-year modernization journey, within which the Sr. DevOps Engineer – Windows On-Prem will play a key role: designing, developing, and maintaining Optum Serve’s automated build and release structure and deployment pipeline. This will span from code compilation and automated testing to deploying releases to multiple environments. The Sr. DevOps Engineer – Windows On-Prem is responsible for maturing the DevOps mindset within agile teams using techniques such as Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery to provide quality products with seamless integration across Development, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Operations, and Release Management roles within LHI. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Requirements

6+ years of IT experience on web-based products
4+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting language
4+ years of experience with Windows based on-prem hosted applications within the last 6 years
4+ years of experience with Azure DevOps, including building, managing, and troubleshooting YAML pipelines
2+ years of experience with DevOps teams, Agile methodologies, and Test-Driven Development
2+ years of experience with continuous integration tools (like Octopus Deploy)
Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency
Experience leveraging load balancing tools and different deployment models
Proven ability to travel to the La Crosse, WI office up to 25%25 as needed
