About The Position

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, found in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. They are growing and looking to recruit a Full-time DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer. This role is fully remote and offers the ability to contribute to a dynamic business at a growth phase, with a high level of autonomy and support for ideas, allowing the engineer to put their expertise into best practices for the company.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
• Solid experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and automation
• Strong networking fundamentals including L2/L3 concepts, VLANs, switching, and routing
• Experience with overlay network technologies and software-defined networking
• Experience with network automation and programmability
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of infrastructure services
• Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Automate network and server configuration with Ansible
• Optimize cloud resources and implement cost-effective solutions
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Implement security best practices and compliance automation
• Collaborate with development and operations teams
