About The Position

Contributes to the R&D Mechanical Engineering team in completing objectives and deliverables that meet necessary specifications in all product lifecycle stages. Identifies robust, functional, and cost-effective concepts, designs, and details for machines, tools, fixtures, and products. Coordinates testing, verification, and validation activities to ensure conformance to product and customer specifications. Provides weekly project status updates on current projects to R&D Mechanical Engineering leadership to raise awareness of key milestones and needs for timely completion. Examines technical reports, technical memoranda, and other documents to identify opportunities to improve outcomes. Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities. Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Requirements
