Requirements

15+ years of professional experience in software or solutions engineering, with deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure AD, etc.).
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, configuration, and development.
Extensive SharePoint Online experience including SPFx development, custom web parts, and site architecture.
Proficiency in Power Platform: Power Apps (canvas), Power Automate, and Power BI.
Solid web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST API integration.
Experience with Microsoft Graph API and integrating M365 services programmatically.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control (Azure DevOps / GitHub).
Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts including Azure AD, RBAC, and SSO.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), M365 Developer (MS-600), or Power Platform Developer (PL-400).
Experience with .NET / C# development in an enterprise context.
Familiarity with JSON, XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
Prior experience working as a solo technical contributor or lead engineer in a lean IT organization.
Experience implementing governance frameworks for M365 tenants.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise solutions leveraging Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint platforms.
Build and deploy web applications and custom solutions aligned with business requirements and IT architecture standards.
Establish and configure API connections to create an internal data lake for reporting purposes.
Develop Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI solutions to automate processes and deliver actionable insights.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
Support the BGS Systems Architect with the management of SharePoint Online environments including site design, governance, content management, and integrations.
Lead/Co-Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concept projects, and solution assessments for new tools and technologies.
Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards across the Microsoft 365 tenant.
Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and user guides.
Provide L3 escalation support and troubleshoot complex issues across the Azure/M365 stack.
Mentor and provide technical guidance across IT team members on platform best practices.
