About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in SRE, DevOps, and cloud engineering to migrate applications from on-premises to the cloud. This role involves designing complex applications and architecture components, leading development teams, fixing defects, resolving performance issues, and ensuring service commitments. The Senior Developer will be responsible for ticket resolution, code reviews, mentoring other developers, and managing production support and incident management, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud engineering roles.
- 1+ year of experience in SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles.
- Experience in Kubernetes and container platforms.
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git Ops methodologies.
- Proficiency in Angular, .Net, MS SQL, Python.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git Ops methodologies, API development.
- Experience with design, developing and maintenance of applications on GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, and serverless architectures).
- Experience with GCP data services such as Big Query, Spanner, Alloy DB, Cloud Storage).
- Experience with event-driven systems (Pub/Sub, Kafka).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience with data ingestion pipelines.
- Understanding of IAM, encryption, and security best practices in GCP.
- Experience with containerization (Docker).
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Serverless, Microservices on Azure, API Management, Event Hub, Logic Apps, Service Bus & Message Queues, Azure Storage, Key Vaults and Application Insights, Azure Jobs, Databricks, Notebooks, Py Spark Scripting, SQL etc.
- Cloud migration experience (Azure App Services, Azure VM hosting).
- SRE/Operations background.
- Documentation and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities
- Migrate applications from on-premises to Cloud (Azure and GCP).
- Perform detailed design of complex applications and complex architecture components.
- Lead a small group of developers in configuring, programming, and testing.
- Fix medium complex defects and resolve performance problems.
- Accountable for service commitments at the individual request level for in-scope applications.
- Monitor, track, and participate in ticket resolution for assigned tickets.
- Manage code reviews and mentor other developers.
- Design IIS architecture and load balancer integration (F5, NGINX, Azure Load Balancer).
- Manage certificate lifecycle, security compliance, and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide production support and incident management.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
