We are seeking a Sr. Developer to be responsible for leading the development and execution of innovative software solutions, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific/technical discipline. Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the required education
  • Capable of passing VA Public Trust Investigations
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development
  • Experience with modern development frameworks and tools.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, React/Next.js UI framework
  • Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, Terraform

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of VA On Prem and VA Enterprise Cloud (AWS GovCloud + Azure Gov) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Splunk, ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of Okta, Ping Identity, VA IAM services, FedRAMP compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Kafka, MuleSoft and IBM MQ

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Mentor and support junior developers in their technical growth.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
