Senior Developer (.NET Core) - Lead
About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong .NET Core experience to lead development efforts. This role involves building microservices-based architectures, working with SQL databases, and leveraging AWS cloud and Terraform for infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and possess strong skills in system design and AI-assisted coding. Responsibilities include creating Proofs of Concept (POCs), designing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring excellent communication with engineering teams and stakeholders. A minimum of 3 days onsite in New York City is required.
Requirements
- Strong years of hands-on .NET Core development experience building microservices-based architectures.
- Good years of experience with SQL / relational databases.
- Hands-on years of experience with AWS cloud and Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
- Expertise with Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum.
- Expertise with modern container/platform tooling, including Docker, Kubernetes.
- Strong ability to produce system design diagrams (sequence, deployment, etc.).
- Proficient in AI-assisted coding to accelerate delivery (code generation/refactoring/testing) with secure engineering practices.
- Ability to establish safe AI development standards (prompt/playbooks, governance for AI-generated code/POCs).
- Demonstrated ability to create POCs for new technologies and present recommendations/trade-offs.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, quality gates, automated testing strategy, release strategies (blue/green, canary), and environment promotion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the financial services domain.
- Experience with Java and Kotlin (building services, integrations, or platform components).
- NoSQL experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop microservices-based architectures using .NET Core.
- Utilize SQL/relational databases and potentially NoSQL databases.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code).
- Work with Git, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Employ modern container/platform tooling, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Produce system design diagrams to communicate architecture and integrations.
- Utilize AI-assisted coding for accelerated delivery, including code generation, refactoring, and testing, while adhering to secure engineering practices.
- Establish safe AI development standards, including prompt engineering, playbooks, and governance for AI-generated code and POCs.
- Act as an AI promoter and champion through demos and enablement sessions.
- Create POCs for new technologies and present recommendations and trade-offs.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, including quality gates, automated testing strategies, and release strategies (blue/green, canary).
- Manage environment promotion processes.
- Communicate effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders.
